Lavitol is the patented bioflavonoid extract Dihydroquercetin (DHQ) also known as taxifolin. It is derived from Dahurian Larch (Larix gmelinii­).  Although this novel ingredient originates from the larch tree, it differs greatly from other larch-derived ingredients such as arabinogalactan.
